Privacy policy
Privacy policy of Pet Outing Packlist
In short: everything you enter in Pet Outing Packlist stays on your phone. The app has no account, no server, no adverts, no analytics and no internet permission.
Applies to the Android app Pet Outing Packlist (version 1.0.0) and the website petoutingpacklist.click. Last updated: 19 October 2026.
1. Who is responsible
The publisher of Pet Outing Packlist as shown on its Google Play page. For every question about privacy, data and support there is one address: [email protected].
2. What the app stores
Only what you type in yourself:
- outings – name, date, length, type, tags, notes and stage (packing, out and about, back home);
- packing lists – items, quantities, notes and ticks for packed and back home;
- bags and the name of the person who carries each one (usually a first name such as “Mum”);
- the kit cupboard – things you own, how many, the place in your home and which dog they belong to;
- your dogs – name, water per hour, food per meal, treats per day and notes;
- your own templates, settings and a short history of changes per outing.
This data is saved in the app’s private storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it, and there is no copy on a server.
3. What leaves your phone
Nothing, unless you decide so. When you share a packing list (PDF or text) or a backup (JSON file), the app creates the file on your phone and hands it to the Android share sheet or saves it in a folder you choose. Where it goes after that – a messenger, e-mail, cloud storage – is up to you and governed by that service’s terms.
When you import a backup, you pick the file in the Android file picker; it is read on your phone only.
4. No network, no tracking
- The app does not ask for, and does not have, internet access.
- No analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking tools; no advertising ID.
- No account, no sign-up, no in-app purchases.
- No notifications.
5. Permissions
The app requests no permissions: no location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files, and no notification permission. Files are opened and saved only through the system file picker and share sheet, where you choose each file yourself.
6. Food and water amounts
The water and food amounts are calculated only from the portions you enter. They are not veterinary advice.
7. How long data is kept and how to delete it
Your data stays on your phone until you delete it – single outings, kit and dogs in the app, or everything under More › Backup & data › Delete all data. Uninstalling the app deletes all of its data. Files you exported stay wherever you saved or sent them.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to hand over or delete on request. If you have a question anyway, write to [email protected].
8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. As all data is under your control on your own device, you can exercise these rights directly in the app. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
9. Children
Pet Outing Packlist is a household organiser for adults and is not directed at children.
10. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and loads no third-party resources; fonts and images are served from this site. The hosting server may keep short technical access logs (such as IP address and time of request) to run the site securely.
11. Changes
If the app ever starts to process data differently, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
